My Garden on Venus

If I lived on Venus this is how my garden would look. Full of sparkly plants and fancy birds. This is a piece I just finished. I love it so much I would hate to part with it. But I will be selling it at my upcoming show. It is 11 x 17 on wood. Full of texture! The painting reads "Carpe Diem, Explore, Live"

My chair project

So I have this chair I got from a garage sale and its been in my basement for 5 years or so. I always wanted to do something with it so I decided today was the day!

So first I sanded it all down. Then I went to buy fabric. I really wanted to paint it too but I was undecided because I thought it would be cool varnished and left as the wood tone.

Well I bit the bullet and decided to paint it. Heres the finished product! I decide to leave it as little distressed looking.

This little piece of art was inspired by the people that teach us, help us and are there for us. Teachers, moms, friends, sisters, mentors, all have the power to inspire us, nurture us, and just be there through our growing process, cultivating and tending to us like a flower. Community is important!
